Custom buttstock & forend is a beautiful satin finish with hardly a mark. CONDITION: Fine as likely refinished to a very high standard. Gun is accompanied by a letter from Browning historian showing a sale date of April 22, 1931. Comes with 5 flush mount choked tubes and wrench. Solid black rubber recoil pad with two black spacers. Flared capped pistol grip, grip cap with white diamond inlay. Custom wood, both forend & Monte Carlo style buttstock with beautifully executed checkering & fleur-de-lis carving. Receiver, trigger bow & forend iron with geometric engraving & borders all in gold. Blued receiver engraved with a pigeon inside a stylized pyramid all in gold on both right & left sides. 32″ bbls, ventilated rib, 2-3/4″ chambers, flush choke tubes installed. *VERY RARE FIRST YEAR (1931) PRODUCTION BROWNING MIDAS GRADE SUPERPOSED SHOTGUN.
